Sunday is World Communion Sunday, and in our denomination, a day to lift up Peacemaking. The Reverend Matt Gaventa will be filling our pulpit while Rob and I celebrate Rob’s retirement in London. Matt is the pastor of Amherst Presbyterian Church in Amherst Virginia, a sister church here in Presbytery of the Peaks. He will be ably assisted by Scott Smith, who will serve as liturgist.
