Worship Committee

 

MissionThe Worship Ministry guides the congregation in corporate and personal worship, overseeing and enhancing weekly worship services, including music, special services, and related activities, and personal and spiritual growth.

 

This fall committee members are reading Lisa Nichols Hickman's The Worshiping Life, Meditations on the Order of Worship. Each chapter reflects on an element of worship and how that element plays out not just in the sanctuary, but also in day to day life.

• Study of worship in all its fullness 
• Oversight of Worship Services including weddings and memorial services
• Provision for Monthly Communion
• Scheduling Elders for Communion
• Scheduling Ushers
• The Flower Ministry
• Oversight of the Arts Committee
• Maintenance of worship furnishings and seasonal elements
